ELEMENTS: Jacqueline Gautier

Jacqueline Gautier, M.A., R.C.C. is both a licensed Psychotherapistand a mixed media artist whose styles are figurative, expressionistic and surreal. Her interests include the exploration of themes such as illumination, beauty and transformation using multi-coloured metallic foils, acrylic paints, gloss gels and molding paste on canvas. In her show “Elements” she explores the five elements of Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Spirit that are always with us in the natural world and within us. She creates an interplay with shapes and images, as well as the felt sense of movement through these sacred and foundational elements. She likes to evoke a sense of magic, mystery, and whimsy. Her creative process is intuitive, each step revealing itself spontaneously.
