WELCOME TO GAGE GALLERY

Gage Gallery Artists Collective

The Gage Gallery is a beautiful gem situated in the heart of Victoria, British Columbia.

We are 22 local contemporary artists dedicated to creating an inspiring venue where we exhibit and sell our artwork as well as engage with community in meaningful ways around art and culture.

With rotating solo and group exhibitions mounted every three weeks in our Main Gallery, there is always something new and exciting to discover. Our styles range from vivid abstraction to expressive representation, west coast landscape painting to sculpture, drawing, printmaking, and more. Our member gallery features an array of paintings and sculptures by collective members along with prints and art cards at very affordable prices.  A special “Gage” bonus:  there is always an artist present to chat with you. Admission is always free!

Resilience

Opening Reception Saturday, August 9, 3-6pm Living on Vancouver Island, I am surrounded by diverse landscapes that continually inform my creative process. I explore the contrasts of destruction and renewal—whether it’s the tangled beauty of an overgrown garden, fog rolling in over a harbour, or wildflowers breaking through the cracks of urban sprawl. These moments speak to the resilience and strength inherent in nature, themes that resonate deeply in my work. Each piece is a meditation on the complex relationship between destruction, stagnation, regeneration, and growth. It’s through this lens that I hope to create art that not only reflects the resilience of nature but also prompts reflection on our own relationship with the world around us.
