WELCOME TO GAGE GALLERY

Gage Gallery Artists Collective

The Gage Gallery is a beautiful gem situated in the heart of Victoria, British Columbia.

We are 22 local contemporary artists dedicated to creating an inspiring venue where we exhibit and sell our artwork as well as engage with community in meaningful ways around art and culture.

With rotating solo and group exhibitions mounted every three weeks in our Main Gallery, there is always something new and exciting to discover. Our styles range from vivid abstraction to expressive representation, west coast landscape painting to sculpture, drawing, printmaking, and more. Our member gallery features an array of paintings and sculptures by collective members along with prints and art cards at very affordable prices.  A special “Gage” bonus:  there is always an artist present to chat with you. Admission is always free!

Marg Cooper: Conversations In Colour

Margo Cooper: Conversations In Colour

The abstract figurative paintings in this new exhibition by Margo Cooper encourage individual interpretation and emotional response, with titles that suggest themes without prescribing meaning. The show’s title, Conversations In Colour, reflects both the vivid palette and an invitation to viewers to converse with the art, each other and members of the Gage Gallery’s 21 artist collective. To deepen this engagement, a writing area encourages visitors to share their reflections either publicly or privately. Margo firmly believes in the enriching power of art and wants everyone to have a chance to experience the transformative effects of creativity. She now paints full time in her upstairs studio at the Gage Second Story and guests are always welcome. Book ahead at margocooper@shaw.ca or take a chance and ask if she’s in when you’re visiting the gallery. Opening Reception: Thursday June 4, 2026 6-8pm
