Gage Membership Application – Gage Gallery Arts collective

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Gage member. We are limited to 22 members and are currently full but please feel free to fill out the form below and we will get in touch if a position opens up and you look to be a good fit. Please note that we accept members based on the needs of the collective at the time when a spot opens up, which can include factors like the type of art, the skills we need to run the gallery, as well as the quality of the artwork. In the meantime we encourage you to come to the gallery, see the shows and join us for our openings, which are about every three weeks, where you will meet the current members. Also, if you are interested in sharing your artistic skills we do invite non-members to run workshops in our upstairs space so please let us know if that is something you might like to do. We look forward to seeing you at the gallery and getting to know you better.

What are your expectations for art sales at the Gage and what type of sales have you made up until now? *Please note that new members will get their first solo show in the main gallery about 16 month after joining but are entitled to a dedicated space in the Member Gallery, card and print sales, participation in group shows as well as use of the upstairs studio to run workshops.0 / 600

Do you have the time to fully participate in committee work, sit shifts at the gallery three times per month, attend meetings and openings? *The Gage is entirely run by members who each spend a minimum of 20 hours each month on Gage duties and events. Plese note that since all Gage members must work with patrons and manage sales you must also be comfortable with people as well as the checkout technology we use for processing sales.0 / 600

Are you comfortable paying the monthly membership dues? *Currently the member dues are $120/month and additionally each artist pays for their own advertising, printing, opening reception expenses, etc.0 / 600
