Margaret works in acrylic and watercolour. She loves to create something that touches a viewer’s memory. Many of her paintings are landscapes that travellers recognize, carrying them back into reminiscing similar scenes. Recent works include undersea-inspired water-landscapes considering what is similar between land and sea. Shiny, shimmery, glittery, colour-shifting iridescent paints express fish shapes, diatoms, leaves, stems and bubbles.
Margaret has been an artist since childhood and has a visual art degree from the University of Victoria. She has a master’s degree in public relations and works in Victoria. Phthalo blue and lime green are among her favourite colours.
