Simon would describe himself as a self-directed life long learner, which informs and drives his passion for painting. The majority of his work is oil on exhibition wood cradle panel or deep gallery wrapped canvas with a leaning towards square formats. It is heavily influenced by the things in everyday life and his travel adventures. He also has a rich experience creating art in stained glass, especially how it is expressed as part to the Arts and Craft movement. It’s easy to see how this continues to influence his current works.
